Super Warp Generator (Part Two)

When all the parts arrived not only did I build a quad Super Warp Generator, I added centre off switches to select fast or slow LEDs (or nothing) for each stage. The inputs are normalled to the first input and the LEDs ended up being mounted in nice little chrome bezels.

  1. Saw your first post on this and decided to have a go. The result was a simple but pleasing module.
Since I happened to have four of the tri-coloured LEDs hanging around, scavenged from my kids toys won at seaside arcades, I also thought about making a quad module.
When you say 'fast or slow LEDs' though what do you mean as the ones I've managed to find through various suppliers seem to have pretty much the same characteristics?

  2. Some will flash, some slowly change colours. My first batch of LEDs were the slow ones, and it took some searching to find the faster ones (which ended up being 5mm rather than 3mm LEDs). I got the faster ones from this chap on eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391496370863
